It is also committed in exploring all opportunities to promote the artists, his work, his vision, and his cause if he has any, during the showing of the films and the events during the festival.

Luis Pedron-
Co-Founder / Festival Director / Programmer

Luis Pedron is the co-founder of IFFM. He has been in a business of supporting artists from the Tri-State NYC/NJ/CT area and from around the world. He has Co-Produced International Events that has helped out the community socially and economically since 2004. As a Media Person, Luis Pedron has been a freelance film critic and journalist who has covered the NY Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, AsianAmerican International Film Festival (Asian CineVision) and NYC Horror Film Festival to name a few since 2004.

Luis Pedron owns the Multi -media company and PR Marketing firm - LFP International Production Inc. that produced international events and published Fanclubx.com, an online entertainment site (2004 - 2010), Planet Philippines NY NJ , an entertainment newsmagazine (2007 - 2009). He is also the Co-Producer of the International event, Queens Asian Fest (2010 - 2013). He produced the Fanclubx.com Filmmaking Contest at the ImaginAsian Theater NYC (2006 -2007). Luis Pedron was the Programmer of the Soho International Film Festival NYC (2009 -2011) which he co-founded in 2009.

Pedron is also part of the Hollywood, California artistic community as the Artistic Director of the Asians on Film Festival (2013 - present) and the Programmer of the One Filipino-American Film Festival (2013 - present).

Luis is also an award winning short filmmaker his films had played in film festivals all over the world. This include "Receptionist Smart" ( co-directed with Mark Levitt ) which won 3 awards and was screened as part of the International Festival of Cinema and Technology World Tour 2004 in NYC, Toronto, Canada and Brisbane Australia. Best Directing award and Best Documentary Video at the NYIIFVF for his documentary, "VIP Very Important Pinoys" honoring Filipino American seniors in Elmhurst Queens NYC. "Party Games" (co-directed with Mark Levitt) won the Best Director Award - Short at the NYIIFVF 2004. Luis Pedron is a co-producer of the Gerry Balasta Film, "The Solar Champion."

Luis Pedron is a voting member of the SAG Awards (Screen Actor Guild / SAG-AFTRA) since 1998.

Jeanette is currently the President of the Basilia Womens Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization that supports Victims of Domestic Violence, the Executive Director of MarcoArt NYC and Marco Not Polo. Apart from the position she holds, she is the US Bureau Chief of Philippine Business News and the Co-Producer of a Lifestyle Reality Show “Get Reel TV”.

An Event Producer and organizer with 17 years of masterful experience in publication, travel and hospitality industry both here in New York, UAE, Japan and in Australia.

She is currently the Regional Director - USA, National Director of Japan and UAE for the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA)

She’s a marketing strategist who’s passion for writing drove her to pursuit a career in journalism. Being well travelled, she combines this passion with a vision to discover the world and sharing her experiences with a wider audience.

ERIN MAIREAD O'KANE-Managing Director

Erin Mairead O’Kane is the Managing Director for the International Film Festival Manhattan. Erin has served as the Logistical Manager for the Indio Bravo Film Festival at the MOMA, Volunteer Coordinator for the IFP Film Week, and marketing campaigns for films such as “I’m Reed Fish”, Red Roses & Petra”.

Erin also worked on World Wide Motion Picture’s Academy Awards Nomination Press Tour where she was the Marketing specialist coordinating the logistical support for award winning Danish actress Paprika Steen.Erin has acted in a several independent films, web series, and shorts, and enjoys writing in her free time.

SUSAN HU- Communications/ Social Media Director

She is the Communications / Social Media Director for the International Film Festival Manhattan NYC (since 2011- present) with the responsibility of marketing the fest through Twitter, Facebook and all the social media outlets including word of mouth promotion.

Susan Hu works with Wtvnetworks (thewtv.com since 2010 - present) as Associate Producer / Celebrity Journalist . She has covered the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week NYC 2011 NY Film Festival 2010, 2011, Black Eyed Peas MTV Special Event 2011 and SAG Awards in LA 2011. Susan is also an actress who recently worked on the feature films: "36 Saints" and "Bourne Legacy." She recently done administration work for the " Chix 6" (Off Broadway Musical) in NY, "36 Saints (Feature Film) in NY and Justin Timberlake Open Golf Tournament in LA, CA 2011.
